The Excalibur speaker cable is a specially configured use of the Sword cable. The cable is constructed with bifilar (fine thread) wound Litz conductors, each comprising 24 individually insulated wires. The bifilar winding is built with 12 of these wires helically wound in one direction and 12 wound in the opposite direction. This divides the magnetic field into opposing directions resulting in self-cancellation. Supra's crimped 'CombiCon' cable terminations may be fitted with rhodium-plated 4mm bananas or spades.
